If my name is not Paul, can I still comment? If your tractor really is a 900 series, it will be either a 950 (five speed trans with non-live pto) or a 960 (five speed trans with live pto). The Select-O-Speed trans was not introduced until after the 900 series was replaced by the 901 series. Below is a link where you can find and decipher your model and serial numbers. That tractor might be worth more if you part it out. New rear tires with rims can cost well over $600. Good sheetmetal, good engine all are worth money. Or you could spend some time and money getting the lift and clutch pedal working properly and have a tractor that may sell for $3000. I wouldn't plan on getting more than that.
