Yeah, I should have gotten a definitive breakdown prior to, and checked it out thoroughly. I've seen people wrestle with large tires in the construction business and always figured it best to bring it to a shop or get a service call, especially if you are not equipped to do tire work. Now after watching him do the job on this size tire, I see a lot I could have done myself, especially in a pinch when $$$ are tight, otherwise just get the best rate you can and pay the man. If you have a machine down and its costing you big $$$, you have no choice but to get a service guy, money well spent, compared to downtime losses. I've always said you pay for knowlege, so next time I'll do better if I can. Trying to drum up some interim work until my next gig kicks off, so I'm trying to keep the $$ tight, LOL never works though, always something !!!
