Agree with Miss Grundy but it's an opinion thing on the shutoff. My float valve works ok, but I think that if I leave the fuel on, it might cause the thing to stick the next time I use the tractor. Probably won't, but again it's an opinion thing. Course I'm wearing out my Oring seal in my shutoff valve and she's not. Never saw damage to an engine caused by lack of lead, but saw lots of pretty ones due to lack of lead; and clean oil, for longer periods of time. Mark
