Dave! I don't know what your application is and that defines what size tractor you need. And I don't know what your money is like. But you can't go wrong with American made (i.e. Ford, MF, JD). And in most applications a little bit larger tractor is a safer bet than to small. There are many good used tractors for 1/2 to 1/3 of what you are spending. But I like to have a good tractor so if you have the money a new tractor is the way to go. All the other stuff look around you can pick-up used for a fraction of the cost saving lots of money. One other thought, it sounds like you are new at this. If you find you don't like it and want to get out look at your resale value. You will take a beeting with new equipment. PEH.
