I know this makes me sound dumb but where's the seal that you replace so that oil doesn't get on the clutchplate ? Years ago , I had a Sherman tranny put in my 640 & a week later I had to have it resplit to replace a seal because I lost my new clutch due to oil . The repair shop owner & mechanic said they didn't know I wanted the seal replaced . I was very unhappy & broke due to their stupidity . Now I'm rebuilding a 52 8n Funk & I sure don't want that problem again . This is my very first attempt at doing it all myself . I figure why pay that dummy to screw up at my expense if I can do it myself . Hee hee . I'm also installing a sherman hi/lo in this tractor too . The seal's been replaced in it by Rippee Tractors parts . So if there's another seal somewhere please help me . Maybe send me apics of it's location . I've rebuilt the 6 cyl engine completely too so it has all new seals . Bored out at .060 ; can't wait to hear it purr .Thanks in advance . Ken C.
