I am not a expert body man but here is what I have been doing. Apply Acrilyc Urethane sanding primer, Sand to suit, apply Epoxy sealing primer, (I do sand this coat LIGHTLY but you are not suppose to), then apply Acrylic Urethane color. All of these products are two part paints, either hardners or catalysts. Expect ot pay about $500 to $1000 for materials for a tractor. I spent about $1000 for the first tractor I did this way but am still using some of the primers from that project as I haven't done a tractor since:-( I am real happy with the results as things laid real nice and tractor still looks good after close to 10 years. A couple words of caution. These paints require decent proctection equipment. I use a half mask with Charcoal filters. These can be purchased reasonable and are well worth it. Try the restoration board or paint board here. They don't show up unless you click the button to show all the boards. HTH JT
