From the serial no., it looks like an early '40 model. Depending on what kind of life it had before you, you may want to give the engine , tranny, and hyds a flush to get the crud out. If the hyd and trans oil is milky or brown, it has water in it. Use good hd oil in the engine, 30 wt, or if the engine seems pretty good, you can use 10-30, 10-40, 15-40, or 20-50. Use New Holland spec M-2C-134D oil in the trans, hyds, and diffy, or 90 wt is okay also. They hold 5 gals. It would be worth aquiring an owners manual or a tech manual. They are worth what they get for them. They are available here or from various sources. New Holland dealers have them.
