If you are having problems with static buildup on your Direcway system, be sure the installer grounded the transmitter arm to the dish, the dish to the ground shield block on the cables, and all of the above to the ground. Our original installer didn't do that and we had very intermittent service until I grounded it temporarily and Direcway sent a different installer out to correctly ground everything. After grounding the system was much more consistent, we still loose signal in almost any rainfall, though. - Tim
