Hi - thanks for the comments. The tractor was basicaly free, a retired friend gave it to me. I live in Yakima WA and it seems that around here there a quite a few cheap tractors due to people going out of business (apples). The Massey 135 series of the same vintage in good codition go for about 2500 to 4000. The tractor seems to be in good shape otherwise. It wasnt until I did a oil change and noticed chunks coming out that I knew anything was wrong. Investigation showed that the bearing were shot. Is there any other trouble spots other than the clutch that you would replace as a matter of fact? Thanks
