I guess I should have been more clear. There is no recall of any kind for Firestone Steeltex Radial AT Radial tires in LOAD RANGE "E". That's the tire the I recommended. That's the kind I use. Your Excursion had LOAD RANGE "D" tires on it. Apparently Ford once again put underrated tires on a SUV. I seem to remember the Explorer had a similar problem some years back with tire pressure recommendations.
