HI Terry I too have a super c (special) I have talked with a lot of IH dealers in the past years and not one could tell me anthing about them. Here is what I know. They had a 3 1/4 INCH BORE FROM THE FACTORY AS COMPARED TO THE 3 1/8 INCH BORE ,the regular super c had from factory. also I believe that the cam is the same as the cam from a 340. I talked with one fellow from missouri and one from north carolina that also had the same (special) cast into the block of their tractors, except the one from NC. was a super A. BTW. Mine is a 1951 model What year is yours?. Hope this helps. Luck red340
