JD 3010 vs Ford 3600

A local fellow has a JD 3010 diesel w/offset harrow & 6' Bushhog mower for $5,750 and a Ford 3600 diesel (40 HP), 6' King Kutter finishing mower for $6,600. Which would you choose if condition is comparable? I will use it for plowing and planting a small acreage and some mowing. What is the rated HP for the JD? How about durability of each one. Does anyone know what years those models were made? I appreciate any comments that anyone with experience with these models may have.
