We've owned a D13006 with MFWD for over 20 years without any major problems. The parts are avaible, but are expensive. Keep the cooling fins around the cylinders and the oil cooler clean to prevent overheating, and don't let it run out of fuel. It's a real pain to get all the air out of the system, and it won't do more than idle with any air in it. We used it for our primary tillage tractor when we were row cropping, but it's retired to the shed now. Ours would out pull and out work any tractor of any color up to 150 hp and use 1/2 the fuel doing it. It pulled equipment all day (disks & rippers) that 4430's and 1086's couldn't move.
