Hey Jeff, as a retired government worker, I think I can add a little to this discussion. First, I think DL was correct when he surmised that there may be more to Tom Ridge leaving the job. According to this morning's news there were several issues, his kids' college being only one of them. Secondly, I don't believe that he is eligible for retirement. He is part of the Senior Executive Service but still has to work a minimum number of years and be of a certain age to qualify. Furthermore, I get the idea that he hasn't made any such decision anyway. I heard that he was protesting the coverage as such and it may be that the media has blown yet another item way out of proportion. For what it's worth, Glenn

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
