My 35B will do the same thing unless I get it out and make it earn a good days keep. Or in other words some times they just need to be worked to keep them running well. Or if you do use it for work it may need rings. After a good days work on my B it stopped spitting oil out the exhaust pipe. Hope this helps a little, if not sorry
