I think that you're right. A good spyware or antivirus software sounds like is needed. I had spyware, even subscribe to one, don't remember what was - should've created a backup disk before went crazy deleting stuff I didn't recognize - and they told me too to. I didn't. Then once couldn't do a thing my processor was so tied up - went to Task Manager and saw my processor running at 99% as soon as I'd reboot - identified unknown program and deleted it. Then everytime I'd turn on computer would get a screen pop telling me that something wanted to go on line (trojan). Guess I didn't learn enough from class on Cisco's new security software and enough is/was enough, have a subscription to Norton now.
