I re-use nylocs with loctite 242(blue )no problems. You can tell when insert is worn out. I guess if I'm that concerned with nut loosening, I drag out the torque wrench. Like somebody said, wouldn't use them on exhaust etc. There are also re-usable castlelated lock nuts that you can sqeeze in vice if they get too easy. They're a little spendy though.
