Here is the thing about the 6.5L and the injection pumps. They do only last about 100k or so which isn't bad but a lot of the time it is something other than the pump that is bad. Like yours being replaced 4 times, anyone ever think huh must be something else? Lots of little things on those pumps that make it look like it is the pump itself. Need better mechanic I'd say. And as far as a good old 350 you can't ask for much more. Solid motor with adequate power. Not gonna pull 20k around but for normal pulling use will work fine.
