I have a massey ferguson 231 which is only about 5 years old. Great tractor except for the brakes. Since i rarely use them it is not a big deal to me however my wife has recently taken an interest in doing some bus hogging and cutting of the pastures lately (an activity that i want to encourage), and she has a terrible time with the brakes. the brakes are mechanal linkage type, and no matter how much i have cleaned, lubed, adjusted them, they just take too much force for her to apply. Is there such a thing as a hydraulic brake retro fit kit that i can install, or does any one have any other ideas?
