It may depend on whether you get a kick out of waving at people you know, kiddin" them a little when they kid you, etc. I have ridden horses in parades, which is a little more edgy because you"ve got to watch out for your life as well, but had a good time. I"ll be driving the Cockshutt 35 in the local parade just as soon as it"s done. If you"re not too keen on drawing the attention, you might check with the parade organizer ahead of time and see if there"s a group that needs conveyance in the parade- bring a wagon with bales, let them decorate, etc.- the focus will be on them, not you, but you still get in on the fun of the event.
