Hi Steve, Saw your "ne" and thought I'd hollar back. Much of our business is run across the 'net and so of course, we have to be as careful as we can about fire walling, fighting viruses and trying to keep the bad guys out. At any given time, we have something like 21 machines running and we've got 4 dishes up on the roof to access the ‘net via broadband serving satellites. Point being is that I've been noticing that for the past couple of years these links are getting slower and slower and slower. So, I get mad the other day and call tech support, ranting and raving about all the money we're spending on this broadband service and how it is now dragging like common a telephone dial up connection. I further accuse them of “throttling” our links. The tech very calmly and politely runs all the necessary tests and goes thru the usual checklist. Come to find out, the problem lies here within our offices and our triple layered fire-walling. But, whadda gonna do? If they want in badly enough, I think that they can get in....... It’s the age we live in, I guess Allan
