Silly question

This really is a silly question. If you plant you may not make a profit but you might be able to make your payments. Land rent, tractor payments, payroll, etc. If you dont plant you will not make those payments. Your 20% profit premise doesnt hold water. Farming rarely makes a profit anymore anyway but alot of land is rented, alot of tractors are used and alot of people have jobs. My$.02
