You have old fashioned gear lube for older tractors, autos, etc. You need Case IH Hy-Tran or the same product from a MAJOR oil company like Mobil, Shell, etc. DO NOT use cheap farm store products. I am a JD guy myself, and their brakes run in oil. You can really tell the diffrence between good and cheap oil. If you use cheap oil they chatter really bad. With good oil they work fine.
