Ford 860 engine head

Can anyone give me a suggestion as to where to find a new / rebuilt head for a 1954 Ford 860? We are vey unimpressed with our local Ford dealer - would very much like to find another source. The machine shop we took the head to says we have 4 cracks in it and they do not want to repair it. Location - northern Illinois. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.
