Please try to look at this from our side of the fence. You address hobbyist and small time farmers and then go on and rip us apart for being ignorant about how to operate machinery but doing it any way. Anyway that is how it looks to me. You posted a picture of your PTO locking pin. I farm 145 acres and grew up on a farm, so this is nothing new to me and I understand how that pin got in the shape it is in that may have something to do with why some of them failed. Now how would you feel if someone jumped on this post and lectured you on the proper maintence of equipment? I had not heard anything about this pin not being available but it is good to know. I just feel your point could have been gotten across without picking on the shortcomings od others.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
