Ken: That Maine - NB area is where the old guy was from that told me the story on the duel citizenship. I find Customs Officers both US and Canadian don't really excell in the common sence dept. With the electronic surveilence equipment available to both governments today they know who and what is crossing that border 24-7 without leaving the monitor. All they need do is send POLICE after the crooks. Certainly no need to have that gaggle of unemployable people at the border annoying everyone.
