Check www.millertire.com to be sure but for MOST tractor fronts you can use 4 rib implement tires in 8 or even 10 ply. I made the switch especially to make the tractor grab better when turning with a full loader bucket. The difference is very noticeable. Truck tires don't have the ribs tractors need so I would suggest you forget that idea. As far as easier steering goes... loader tractors require power steering. Someone else might know if a retrofit PS unit is available for your tractor.
