How much weight do you hang on the back to counter-balance the loader? That is by far the easiest way to improve steering with a front loader. It is rarely mentioned on the forum, so we don"t know whether the loaders are counter-balanced already or not. Once drove 20 miles on the road with power harrow on a tractor, which lifted the front wheels off the road at anything over gentle throttle and 5 mph and the smallest of bumps! That was not fun either. Go widest tyres but bear in mind the king pin spindles and wheel bearing loads on these old tractors. Any wear in the king-pins will also make steering harder Regards, RAB
