I wrote down some prices. All in Canadian of course. MF 135 went for $1,800. Ran, but was well used. Lots of oil blowby out the bottom. The Ford 7700 went for $9,500. 1952 Ford F600, in decent shape running and registered, went for $2,050. 1938 International truck, restorable, but neglected, lots of missing glass, seat back missin, engine frozen, but solid metal mostly, $1,300. Farmall 404, looked clean and decent shape, went for $2,200. John Deere Model B, had to be pull started, went for $5,000. The John Deere Model D (sit down now) went for $11,000. F14 McCormick Deering not running and need of restoration, $2,200. John Deere Model A, rough shape, went for $1,100. McCormick Deering 1020, rough shape not running, $1,000. John Deere Model D unstyled, running, $4,200, Rumely Oil Pull 12-20 which looked complete but did not have the gas tank installed, went for $12,500. They did put some fuel in the fuel bowls and spun the flywheel with another tractor. It took them about 5 minutes to get a pop out of it. What was funny is there, there was a pop of smoke mixed with chicken feathers and unburned fuel which came raining down on the crowd. Nice effect.

But no matter how good or bad auctions may be, we always seem to stay until the item we've come for or are interested in is on the block. I've been to some auctions near and far. I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
