I'll have to look it over a little closer when i have time. I'm on 2 other dorums that use that type of formatt, I have a very hard time keeping up with them. They become very specific to only the newest & single browser, which is what frustrates me. Every time the software upgrades, a bunch of people get left out. I can only access one of the other boards from my PC, there is no browser/OS combination on my wife's iMac that will access it. Then the other board just _hates_ my 6 month old PC with XP - I can read things, but it does not keep me logged in enough to reply to a message without forgetting who I am. After 3 tries I just give up. But, it works well with my wife's Mac stuff. I prefer message boards that do not bubble up new replies to the top - it is impossible to get rid of people like RealRon from such systems, as they can always bubble their pet peeves up to the top & everyone starts in again on another round. With a forum like this one currently is, those rather hot messages at least fall to page 2 after a while & get ignored. I understand this system is _very_ old, and it must be a bear for Kim to keep running as well as she does. The age of it is what makes it work so well for all of us tho. A real trade-off there, easy for Kim to use, or easy for _us_ to use. During busy periods, that brand of forum software becomes _extremely_ slow loading as it has to wander to different web sites to find all the gee-whiz animations & ads. Been my experience. Probably works better on a high-speed connection, but out in po-dunk that just isn't offered, so we get left behind by the gee-whiz new worthless (imho) animations & the like. Guess those would be my big concerns. We are creatures of habit, and it is hard to change. I'll go along with changes, but I'd like to see the above addressed if it does change. --->Paul

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
