I'm with you! I think this forum has great character as it is!

I frequent some other forums with all the gaudy pictures and "smileys", and REALLY appreciate the down-to-earth, simple nature of this forum! And, yes, I'm on fast DSL, and can only imagine how some of the "glitz" of the newer formats must slow down browsing the Forums over dialup!
