When you are on a main discussion page here (list of subjects) there will be a little box in the right upper corner that mentions it. Click on that box. You will need fairly new browser software, and to do anything but read the messages, you need to register in that forum, it does not 'already' know you from this one. Advertising gets money, & internet advertising is going the vBulletin Forum route, so eveyone is turning to it. Adds a lot of cookies & trackers to your computer which you need to clean out again evey day - as someone else mentioned. I've found vB forum software to be very tempermental & only works with certain combinations of browsers, OS, and computers. No rhyme or reason to it. Every time the site software is upgraded, there are problems with people just disappearing, as they can't access it again... All the flashy extra graphics & resizing of boxes on the fly and grinning yellow or blue faces [instead of :) ] takes a lot more download time & CPU time from your computer, and it needs to go visit other sites to suck those images & graphics & ads & tracking data into your computer - some of which may be down or overloaded & so it waits & waits... This slows down how much those of us on dial-up computers can actually get around to reading. But, Kim will probably have a difficult time finding non-vB ads in the future to pay for this site & I siure don't expect her to foot the bill & none of us donate enough to keep it running (been an option for all of us for a year or more so don't ask 'how can I give' this late in the game....), so it's either conform or die - much like the Borg in Star Trek. Unfortunately - or fortunately - we farmer types rarely conform & this will be a tough sell for Kim. ;) She did try changing the software here several years ago, & was met with a lot of opposition (I probably had a big part on that!) and reverted back to this 'old' style so she does listen to us, but this site has been unchanged in a long time, and it is probably getting hard for Kim to compete any more. Join or die, individualism is no longer rewarded in our society. So, hats off to Kim for the fun ride on one of the best forum systems around, and I suspect some serious change will need to come one way or another. My vote is to leave near-perfection the way it is if possible, but this time I won't be fighting it, as I understand the issue from her side as well... --->Paul

Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
