Are you sure the scotts are made by J.D.? I'd think if they were they would still be a bit more. Stay away fom any MTD's, cause they are junk. Also, you may want to check the drive pulleys on the jackshaft, the plastic ones tend to wear out pretty quickly. there my 2 cents worth. Good lcuk.
