try this,i was in mpls last week and had 2 guys on 494 drive side by side right at 40 mph. this is not so bad until they start giving the old thumbs up to each other. a truck will not tail gait for no reason, perhaps the car did something to him earlier? and when a truck goes down the interstate,do you know how big of engine it has? if i have a 500 hp and the guy infront of me has a 350 hp how do i know until the hill? by what you say is i should wait behind him until you get next to him and cut off my way out, then i can follow him all the way up,right? hills and mountain passes are a cake walk to climb and go down, just ask anyone of the cars that are on the road they can do it better than any trucker ever could. have a wire break on the jake on mt sandstone with 7% grade and i can tell you i had a dimple in the seat, and i had to explain my actions to the DOT about 2 miles from the bottom of the hill. i also had 2 motorists telling me everything i did was all wrong,i should have just stepped on the brakes and stopped,i did think this was a novel idea too. can you see anything wrong with the idea?
