Well, they put a pump on under warranty, it lasted about 4 weeks, they took it, kept it about a week, put on another pump, it lasted less than a week, now they have hade the thing for 4 weeks as of 9/20/04 and trying to blame contaminated fuel as the problem. That is why there is water separators and filters on the things in the first place and like I said, or at least I think it did, I was not there when the tank was pulled so I dont' kown if they put anything in the tank or not?? The other techs I've talked to told me no way would that amount of water cause the pump to fail in any event. I have a locking cap on the fuel tank by the way. Its just a plain and simple dealership/company screwing the little guy. Another note too. I bought this truck to use in my custom hay baling business as it had a hyd. bale bed on it and also I have know the truck since it was bought new. I had another dealer tell me he put 5 inj. pumps on in one week before he finally got a good one. I don't want anymore part of a diesel truck thats for sure. I like GM but this has really tainted my image of them big time. Out of the past 7 weeks I have had it less than one. Looks like I should get a little compensation for loss of use and wages for them dragging their feet.

He had told my father
