I've had very good luck, and saved a lot of money buying used vehicals. I may sling a rod tomorrow, but they've served me well so far. For my wife, we've been buying one year old program (rental) cars, financing them for 5 years, driving them 6 months to a year after they are paid off, and trading them in on another one. I bought a '94 pickup with 39000 miles on it (looked new) in '98. It has 191000 miles on it now and has had no major, and very little minor, work done on it. I don't baby it either. It gets the sh!t worked out of it. I average about 5000 miles between oil changes and if it gets washed twice a year, it feels special. I do not get a tax break on the new ones, so a good used one is all I've been able to aford. And I do shop for them! I got within $400 of buying a new truck one time. I'd love to be able to buy a new one. An old neighbor told me one time "Rich folks make deals - Po folks make arrangements." Mitch
