Chas, Kubota tractors are very light, strong, but light. You are going to have to unlock the brake pedals and learn how to steer with the brakes. My entire Kubota was somewhat smaller than yours, in fact it only weighed 900 pounds. It was equipped with a 4 foot rotary mower (bush hog) that weighed 550 pounds. All I had to do to zero clearance turn was raise the mower wheel off the ground and step on a brake pedal. Which ever brake I stepped on, the rear wheel locked and around we went. Didn't even have to turn the steering wheel. When I got to the point in the turn that I wanted to go, I took my foot off the brake and lowered the mower. Even more fun was trying to move 6 loads of sand with that tractor and a 5 foot scraper blade. I'm just thankful that I have a 4000 pound IH B 414 with the capability to carry a 1500 pound rotary mower and pull a 6 foot blade. There is a lot less finesse in driving this beast. Don't get me wrong, I loved that Kubota, so does the guy I sold it to. UFO Man

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
