Ben, In addition to talking about tractors, farming, equipment, and other related topics, we do at time talk about politics and other unrelated topics. If unrelated topics bother you as well as some others who would rather limit discussions to tractors, then perhaps you would also rather that we not respond to someone posts a simple prayer request. We have had numerous people who have done just that for a multitude of reasons, and thank God there are those among us who are sensitive to those requests as I"m sure they are greatly appreciated by those who make such a request. Ben, whether you agree with everything that is said here or whether you dont, the fact is that I"m sure that there are subjects discussed in your own home that you would rather not be brought up. Its no different here. I speak not for anyone else, but while I disagree with a lot of what a lot of folks here say, and agree with a lot of what a lot of other folks here say, I am not offended, and could care less if I am called names. When that happens, I consider myself the winner of the debate since I caused the other person to exhaust all reason so that all he has left is name calling. Actually, I have read and participated in some passionate discussions and have the utmost respect for someone who is willing to stand up for his convictions. When politics are discussed, it is normal for opposing points of view to be voiced, but Heck, that happens even among family and close friends. I consider us all here as close friends and a family of folks who were brought together through the love of Old Iron and the miracle of the internet.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on ... [Read Article]
