In conjunction with putting some dry, fast burning wood in one spot to start it, get a fan (gas engine powered, or electric if you're close enough to run a cord, or have a generator) to blow on the fire. If you're still having trouble, mount a small tank above the fan, and drip diesel into the airstream going into the fire. This is best done in a manner such that interested guvment officials are not made aware of it.
