After Hurricane Claudette blew through last year, I loaded up 7 loads of branches and tree trunks on the dually, threw them into a pit with 3 old tires, 6 bales of old hay, 5 gallons of diesel and lit it.

I had time to get the hose out and soak down the surrounding areas before the diesel and the tires caught.

Then the sheriff's department got a call about a probable plane crash.

Deputy wasn't too happy, but didn't want to stick around and help me. Didn't give me too much grief either.

I do have to admit that the fireball and resulting mushroom cloud kinda scared me.

That stuff was all green, too, but it burned in less than 12 hours.
