We do try to rotate grazing as best we can. The 13 acres is split 5/5/3. Two of the parcels have their own run-in sheds so they work pretty well. The third is the furthest from the barn and is connected to one of the other pastures so they can get into shelter if they need it. If the weather is good and the flys are down we will gate them into the back pasture to try to keep them off the closest pasture. There are still waste areas that they won't eat and weeds to keep under control. Besides, my wife likes the asthetics of neat pastures.
