Indydirtfarmer, Down here in Mesquite country I have seen guys take a larger tractor tire and cut out half of the sidewalls or so and make a outter liner for the rear tractor tires. Works best on older tires with less tread. I am not sure to what size tire to fit over what. Like a 42 will fit over a 38. The Tire pressure will cause the tire to fit tight in the other and not slip. You will not be able to farm with this set up. But on a shredding tractor it works keen Hope this helps, just a thought , set up a set of tires and rims like this and have set for farmimg, Later, John A.
