We probably need at least another week before we harvest any Soys, and I"d say we have a lot of 70bpa soys but the problem is that we had a lot of replants due to wet spring. Then nearly 500 acres out of 2200 was planted after July 4th. With no rain after the 4th, the plants, especially on the light ground are short even though they are well podded. Many of the full pods are within 2 inches of the ground. The challenge will be to save from 15% to 20% potential left in the field. That will make 70bpa soys 50bpu at best. I"m not talking doom and gloom, just facing reality.
