It may have been legit, but it sure sounds fishy. I heard on Clarke Howard's radio show that the latest scam is to use a really good home color laser copier and make your own bank money orders. They look perfect and are fooling sellers that historically refused personal checks. Yipes! Ain't technology great?

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
