Be interesting for you & Buckeye to discuss both sides of this issue with each other.... Even the 'go get it with cash' option is getting troublesome - with 9-11 security issues & drug dealers, large sums of cash are not so easy to get from the bank any more & draw some attention from athourities if nothing else - in addition to worrying about being conked on the head & the cash taken... I've personally always been more comfortable with a check that cash if it's over $1000 - either buying or selling. Too much cash bothers me, I guess it does not bother others that deal here. I want the check as a reciept, proof of purchase. You need to watch for stolen tractors too, dealing in cash & _you_ can be on the hook big time for owning a stolen tractor. With a canceled check at least you have some standing... Lots to think about on this, many different angles. We all see it from different sides I guess. --->Paul

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
