Just watch out, you know they like to "dip" the tanks and look for the color dye in the fuel, got the tanks in my ford f-350 dipped by the DOT on the way to an auction a month ago, really something when the government has the right to stop me in my little non-commercial operated pickup to check my fuel, with no probable cause, hope he didn't have too much water and dirt on the tube he stuck into my fuel tanks, and the paper they gave me said it was a $1000.00 fine if I refused to let them do it, might be cheeper to just pay the $1000.00 fine for refusal than to pay to re-do the fuel system, the injectors are close to $400.00 each for these pluse the pump, and if you ever replace an injector and have trouble with it, it might be a bad one from the factory, just had a friend that had a new one put in his truck that was bad from the factory, he found out that they don't test them before they send them out. Also the best one I herd was a guy by Sandstone MN. had the DOT come into his yard this summer and dip the tanks on an old truck with expired plates that he just uses on the farm, it hasn't been on the road in years, but the loop-hole in the law was that if it had plates on it, expired or not they could check it, and he had off road fuel in it and got the fine, just look at all the extra money that government spends on stuff, and they say that they don't have enought, ya, right..

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
