It is a 1956-57 or so vintage, newer and better than the 8n 9n. Mine has never seen a shed or barn since then and holds 65-70 lbs pressure and starts every time. Converted to 12 v. Only fault is that it does not have a live PTO. (When you clutch, the bush hog stops getting it) Love mine and plan to refurbish it.
