i killed 24 this year,25 last year and 16 the year before. i use a scissor trap i got at gemplers.com.they have two of this type trap and the cheeper one works better cause it has a more sensitive trigger.sometimes i have totally exposed the tunnel a few inches and placed the trigger there down in the opening with the scixxors at each tunnel opening and had very good luck.the spike type works but not as well. if you go out and walk all the tunnels down ,then you can check a couple times a day to see where they are currently digging, walking the tunnels down is the key ,so you know where they are active..when you go out to check, take a shovel and walk slow and quiet and look at the ends of the tunnel, you can often find them working, sneek up behind them and push the shovel quickly in all the way right behind them and flip the dirt over along with the mole.if you missed, quickly go about 10 feet back the tunnel and dig up the tunnel to where you first turned the dirt over, ive gotten many this way..the key to success is walking down the tunnels to find where they are currently digging, once you find it you can work that same tunnel and get a few.. you cant really catch one in the big mounds of dirt they push up because they can be a foot or two from that spot pushing the dirt. they can move very fast and close off a tunnell so the carbon monoxide method rarely gets one. the vibrators home depot sells that you push down into the soil will first attract them and then they will leave the immediate area to about a 30 foot radius of the vibrator.so several would be needed if you have a large yard.i like to stand near a active tunnel with a shovel while i think or pray (instead of sitting in the easy chair thinking or praying) and sometimes they will start digging.lucas the mole catcher

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
