Pay attention to the location of your rear axle with respect to the "center" of the bed. If you get too much behind the axle, it walks all over the road; can't hardly steer it. You can prove what I say if you have a drag type tandem disc. Get some weights and load it front heavy. Get on the road in road gear and notice how nice it follows the tractor. Now move the load to the rear making it tail heavy. It walks all over the road and if you're not careful it does the duck walk.
Same thing with these 16 ft tandem trailers that are so popular. Load em tongue heavy or loose them. Mark
