I don't have a dog in this fight, so MAYBE it would be best for me to reserve comment on this particular incident. What I will do however, is to comment on internet buying/selling in general. I frequently buy and sell on Yesterdays Tractor classifieds and photo adds. I'm a frequent e-Bay-er also. In the case of e-Bay, they recommend contacting your buyer/seller with-in 3 days, and attemt to complete the transaction with-in 10 days. (as far as making payment-sometimes it is neccesary to wait longer to ship, for checks to clear, ect) It is totally unreasonable to expect payment A.S.A.P., then NOT to ship at least as soon as the payment has cleared. That being said, 2 months is WAY over the acceptable limit. If there is some sort of complication that prevents shipping, a phone call or e-mail should be made immediately, to explain the situation, and offer a full refund if the buyer isn't content to wait. There is such a thing as ethics, even in todays world. Both buyers AND sellers are bound by those "COMMON SENSE" ethics. If I tried to scam, swindle, or cajole anyone, I'd almost expectthem to have something (bad) to say about it. I wouldn't be at all shocked or suprised when they told all their friends. When you go messing with peoples money, you'd better be ready to do what's right....JMHO. John

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
